AGM – Production

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced AGM – Production to manage and control day-to-day manufacturing operations, ensuring achievement of production targets, quality standards, productivity, cost, and delivery commitments.

The candidate will be responsible for effective utilization of manpower, machines, materials, and processes, while driving operational discipline and continuous improvement across the production floor.

Key Responsibilities

Production Management

• Manage overall production activities to achieve daily, monthly, and annual production targets.
• Monitor production performance against plan and take timely corrective actions.
• Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machines, materials, and plant capacity.
• Improve productivity, OEE, yield, and overall manufacturing efficiency.
• Control and reduce rejection, rework, scrap, downtime, and production losses.

PPC & Delivery

• Coordinate closely with PPC for production planning, scheduling, and capacity utilization.
• Ensure production schedules are achieved as per customer delivery requirements.
• Monitor Plan vs. Actual Production and resolve bottlenecks affecting output.
• Ensure smooth flow of material and WIP across production processes.

Quality & Process Control

• Ensure production is carried out as per defined process parameters, SOPs, and quality standards.
• Work closely with Quality to reduce internal rejection and customer complaints.
• Drive Root Cause Analysis, 5-Why, 8D, CAPA, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives.

NPD & Process Development

• Support NPD and Engineering teams during new product trials, process development, and product industrialization.
• Ensure smooth transfer of new products from development to regular production.
• Provide production inputs for APQP, PFMEA, PFD, Control Plan, and PPAP activities.

Manpower & Team Management

• Lead and develop Production Managers, Engineers, Supervisors, and Shop-Floor teams.
• Plan manpower requirements and ensure effective deployment across production areas.
• Establish production KPIs and maintain discipline, accountability, and performance standards.

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Coordinate with PPC, Quality, Engineering, Tool Room, Maintenance, Stores, and Purchase to ensure uninterrupted production.
• Support machine, tooling, process, and manpower improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company policies.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• 18+ years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in Forging / Hand Tools / Engineering / Automotive Components.
• Strong hands-on experience in managing large-scale production operations.
• Proven ability to deliver production targets while maintaining quality, cost, productivity, and delivery.
• Strong leadership, analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven manufacturing environment.

Pay: ₹1,400,000.00 - ₹1,700,000.00 per year
