What they need

The AGM, Supply Chain owns end-to-end material flow from supplier contracts to stock landing across 43 cities in six states.

Role purpose : Build and run a supply chain that gets the right material , modules, inverters, mounting structures, BOS and spares , to the right warehouse on time and at the lowest landed cost.
The role balances three things: supply security, working-capital efficiency through payment terms and TAT, and tight inventory control. Turn today’s supplier relationships and six warehouses into a scalable, data-driven network ready for the next stage of growth.

Key responsibilities

  • Strategic sourcing and supplier management
  • Own sourcing strategy for DCR/non-DCR modules, inverters, mounting structures (Galvalume), ACDB/DCDB, cables and BOS.
  • Manage existing vendor contracts, so delivery TAT, quality and payment terms stay aligned the goals.
  • Negotiate new and renewal contracts on the same three levers , TAT, quality and payment terms , alongside pricing, volume commitments, warranties and spares support.
  • Build a dual/multi-vendor base for critical categories so a single supplier shortfall never stalls installations.
  • Track ALMM listings, DCR norms, BIS and other regulatory requirements; ensure every procured item is compliant for subsidy and net metering.
  • Run monthly supplier reviews on TAT, quality, payment-term adherence and pricing; manage supplier onboarding with procurement-finance partners.

Demand and supply planning

  • Convert the sales pipeline and installation schedule into a rolling 3-month material plan by warehouse and SKU.
  • Run a monthly S&OP cycle with Sales, Installation and Finance; flag shortages early and agree trade-offs.
  • Monitor market signals (wafer and cell prices, USD-INR, duties) and advise leadership on buy-ahead or hold decisions.

Warehousing and inventory

  • Manage the company's six warehouses, each serving a mapped set of cities: layout, safety, stock
  • accuracy and cycle counts.
  • Set min/max and safety-stock levels by SKU and location; reduce slow-moving and dead stock.
  • Own the spares program so O&M can swap and resolve customer issues within 72 hours, including return-to-vendor and warranty claims.
  • Ensure inventory in FEP/ERP matches physical stock at all times.

Inbound logistics

  • Plan inbound freight from supplier plants to each warehouse, and inter-warehouse stock transfers.
  • Manage transporter contracts for these lanes, inbound freight cost per kW, damage-in-transit, and insurance claims.
  • Hand over to the Logistics team, which owns warehouse-to-site delivery, with stock available at the right warehouse ahead of the installation schedule; agree replenishment triggers with them.

Systems, data and process

  • Work with the Product team to strengthen supply chain modules in FEP , POs, GRN, stock transfers and serial-number tracking.
  • Build dashboards for inventory days, fill rate, OTIF and cost trends; use data to drive weekly reviews.
  • Document SOPs and controls that stand up to statutory and IPO-readiness audits. Cost, finance and compliance
  • Own the procurement budget and drive landed-cost reduction per kW year on year.
  • Partner with Finance on working capital, supplier credit, procurement financing and month-end inventory reconciliation.
  • Ensure GST, e-way bill and documentation compliance on every inbound and inter-warehouse movement.

People leadership

  • Lead, hire and develop procurement, planning and warehouse teams across regions.
  • Set clear goals, review performance and build a bench of future leaders.
