The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Agricultural Engineer to join our team in Withcott.

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with one of EnviroAg's larger clients, supporting major agricultural developments across the Darling Downs and Central Queensland, including irrigation, feedlot and dairy projects.

This role will see you involved in project design, engineering analysis, client engagement and project delivery, helping bring significant agricultural infrastructure projects from concept through to construction.

What You'll Be Doing

• Preparing engineering designs, drawings, calculations and technical documentation.
• Developing Bills of Quantities, cost estimates and value engineering assessments.
• Processing survey data to support engineering plans and models.
• Supporting irrigation, livestock and agricultural infrastructure developments.
• Preparing technical reports, specifications and compliance documentation.
• Liaising with clients, contractors, suppliers, consultants and government agencies.
• Contributing to quality, compliance and safety outcomes across project delivery.

About You

To be successful, you will bring:

• A degree qualification in Agricultural Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years' Australian agricultural industry experience.
• Experience preparing engineering calculations, designs and technical documentation.
• Strong report writing and communication skills.
• The ability to build trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Experience working within quality, safety and compliance frameworks.
• A current driver's licence and willingness to travel throughout regional Queensland.

Highly Regarded

• Irrigation, feedlot, dairy or rural infrastructure experience.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D or similar design software.
• Experience working with survey information and engineering modelling.

Pay: $70,000.00 – $150,000.00 per year
