Agriculture Site Engineer

A Landscape Company is searching for an active special Agriculture Site Engineer to join its team.

The Job Description:

• Plan, organize, and supervise daily agricultural and site activities.
• Coordinate manpower, equipment, materials, machinery, and other resources required for site operations.
• Ensure all instructions issued by Higher Management and Project Management are properly understood, communicated, and implemented.
• Assign work to supervisors, workers, operators, and other site personnel according to operational requirements.
• Follow up on assigned tasks and ensure that work is completed within the required timeframe.
• Ensure required equipment and materials are arranged and available before commencing scheduled activities.
• Coordinate the proper use, movement, and availability of agricultural machinery and site equipment.
• Monitor irrigation, planting, cultivation, landscaping, maintenance, and other agricultural activities as applicable to the project.
• Conduct regular site inspections and identify operational, technical, or resource-related issues.
• Maintain proper records of site activities, manpower, equipment usage, materials, and work progress.
• Coordinate with other departments and contractors to ensure smooth site operations.
• Ensure that work is carried out in accordance with approved procedures, specifications, and company requirements.
• Monitor the quality and progress of work and take appropriate corrective action when required.
• Report delays, shortages, equipment issues, safety concerns, and other site problems to management promptly.
• Ensure proper planning and delegation of work during periods of absence or leave to maintain continuity of operations.
• Provide regular updates and progress reports to management.
• Ensure that company equipment, tools, machinery, and materials are properly utilized and maintained.
• Promote and enforce workplace health, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by Higher Management that are relevant to the position.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Agricultural Engineering, Agriculture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in agricultural, landscaping, irrigation, or site operations.
• Good knowledge of agricultural site practices and equipment.
• Strong planning, coordination, and organizational skills.
• Ability to supervise and manage site personnel.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently and make appropriate operational decisions within assigned authority.
• Proficiency in relevant computer applications and reporting systems.
• Strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
• A team player with proven ability to work under Pressure and to meet deadlines.
