Agro Purchase Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and procure Rice, Broken Rice, Rejection Rice, Maize, Rice, Jowar, Rice DDGS & Maize DDGS
• Identify and develop reliable suppliers, mills, traders and manufacturers
• Negotiate price, quality, payment terms and delivery schedules
• Monitor daily commodity prices and market movements
• Conduct supplier evaluation and maintain strong vendor relationships
• Coordinate quality inspection and ensure products meet required specifications
• Plan procurement based on customer requirements and market opportunities
• Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams for timely material movement
• Verify purchase documentation, invoices and delivery details
• Maintain proper purchase records and MIS reports
• Develop new sourcing locations and supplier networks
• Ensure competitive procurement and minimize purchase-related risks

Candidate Requirements:

• 2–5+ years of experience in Agro Commodity Procurement / Trading
• Strong knowledge of Rice, Maize, Jowar & DDGS markets
• Existing supplier/mill/trader network will be an advantage
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Good understanding of commodity quality parameters
• Ability to track market prices and make timely purchase decisions
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and basic ERP/accounting systems
• Willingness to travel for supplier visits when required

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
