Agronomy Manager

The Senior Agronomy Coordinator willprovide strategic and operational leadership to agronomy programs within theKenyacofsupply chain, acting as a key technical liaison between coffee estates,cooperativesandsustainabilitypartners. Theroleis responsible fordriving productivity, quality, compliance, and regenerative agriculture adoption across large coffee estates and smallholder supply chains.

Key Responsibilities Project Supervision, Monitoring, Reporting & Continuous Improvement

• Oversee the implementation of sustainability-project activities across 60,000+ farmers
• Lead field planning and schedulingwhileensuringoperational excellence and quality
• Coordinateandconsolidatedata collection from field teams
• Manage operational budgets and expense tracking for project activities

Team Leadership & Capacity Building

• Lead, mentor,manageandinspirefield extension teams and agronomy technicians including the Soil scientist
• Set clear performanceobjectivesand support professional development of team members
• Build technical capacity through structured training programs and on-farm demonstrations
• Promote a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and farmer-centric service delivery

Coffee Agronomyand Regenerative Agriculture

• Leadthe design and implementation of agronomic programs(coffee husbandry, soil fertility, rejuvenation protocols, IPM, and yield optimization)aligned with Kenyan coffee production systems.
• Overseethe implementation of agronomic trials in approveddemo plots
• Drive the adoptionof Regen Ag practices
• Support climate adaptation and mitigation initiatives including carbon reductionand resilience-building interventions.

Compliance &Certification Support

• Support the Certification Coordinator in theimplementation ofcompliance standards
• Support in the coordination of internal audits, externalauditsand correctiveaction plans
• Train field teams and farm management on certification standards and compliance requirements

Bachelor’degreein Agronomy,Crop science, Agriculture and Environmental Science.

5+yearswork experience working in the Kenyanagricultural sector.Coffeeexperience willbe considered an added advantage.

Required Other Competences
