Job Description AHU Fabrication Supervisor,

Role & responsibilities :
An Air Handling Unit (AHU) Fabrication Supervisor manages the production of  industrial and commercial air handling systems. this role increasingly involves  overseeing manufacturing practices and high-precision assembly to meet modern  energy efficiency standards.  
Core Responsibilities:

• Production Oversight: Supervise daily fabrication and assembly operations  according to production schedules. This includes managing workflows for:
• Cutting for aluminium and steel (CNC plasma and Laser)
• Bending techniques
• assembling
• Welding
• Electrical Work and Assembly
• Team Leadership: Allocate work to operators, fitters, welders, and helpers  based on their skill levels and the current workload.
• Technical Compliance: Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints,  and project specifications to ensure AHU components meet rigorous quality  standards.
• Quality Control: Inspect finished unitsincluding internal components like  coils, fans, and filtersto ensure they meet customer requirements and  industry standards (e.g., ASHRAE or ISO).

Key Skills & Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or technical degree
• Experience: Typically, 3+ years of experience in a metal fabrication and  HVAC manufacturing environment, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory capacity.• Language : English  
  • Technical Proficiency:
• Deep knowledge of AHU components (coils, blowers, dampers).
• Proficiency in welding (Mig, Tig, or Flux core) and structural fitting.
• Familiarity with CAD software   • Leadership: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to mentor new staff  and resolve conflicts within the team.
