AI Application Engineer

Job Responsibilities

1. Develop AI applications and automated business processes tailored to specific business scenarios, based on mainstream large language models (such as GPT, Wenxin, Tongyi, etc.) and AI agent architectures.

2. Design and implement agent workflows in conjunction with external business scenarios to assist the team with efficient information processing, decision support and automated execution.

3. Rapidly learn and experiment with the latest AI tools, open-source frameworks and APIs, applying them flexibly to real-world business scenarios to comprehensively enhance operational efficiency and user experience.

4. Collaborate closely with product and operations teams to translate AI capabilities into core value that is tangible to end users.

Job Requirements

5. A keen interest in generative AI, large-scale model applications, AI agent development and prompt engineering, coupled with a strong capacity for continuous learning.

6. A solid foundation in one or more mainstream programming languages (e.g. Python, Java, Go, C#, etc.), with the ability to quickly get to grips with writing business logic code.

7. This role does not require expertise in low-level algorithms or the principles of AI deep learning, but candidates must possess exceptionally clear logical thinking and excellent problem-analysing and problem-solving skills.

8. Demonstrate a proactive attitude, with a willingness to explore and put cutting-edge technological tools into practice.

9. Possess good communication skills, a team-oriented mindset and strong proficiency in two written languages and three spoken languages (Cantonese, Mandarin and English).

Training and Work Location Arrangements:

This role follows a development model comprising ‘Headquarters Mentor Training + Assignment at the Hong Kong Office’:

Phase One: Core Technical Training at Headquarters (first 6 months)

Work Location: Guangzhou Headquarters.

Contract and Remuneration: For the first six months of employment, you will sign a Mainland labour contract with the Guangzhou Headquarters. Remuneration and benefits (including the ‘Five Insurances and One Fund’) will be in accordance with local market standards for the technology sector in Guangzhou.

Guangzhou Salary Range: RMB 15,000–20,000 per month

Phase Two: Assignment at the Hong Kong Office (following completion of the six-month training period)

Place of work: Hong Kong office (permanent posting).

Contract and remuneration: Upon passing the training assessment, you will be formally posted to Hong Kong and sign a formal ‘Employment Contract’ with the Hong Kong branch; remuneration and benefits will be fully converted to local Hong Kong standards.

Benefits: You will be entitled to the full range of benefits available to local employees in accordance with the law, including the Hong Kong Mandatory Provident Fund (MPF), statutory public holidays and medical insurance.

Hong Kong salary range: HKD$ 22,000–30,000 per month
