Job Description – AI Architect / AI Engagement Manager

Role Overview:

We are looking for a highly experienced AI Architect / AI Engagement Manager with

15+ years of IT experience to drive enterprise AI transformation, solution architecture,

client engagement, and AI-led consulting initiatives.

The ideal candidate should have a strong combination of AI/ML, Generative AI,

enterprise architecture, consulting, solutioning, and stakeholder management

experience. The role requires someone who can engage with CXO-level stakeholders,

understand business challenges, identify AI opportunities, define solution roadmaps,

and lead teams in delivering scalable AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

AI Strategy & Architecture

• Define and lead enterprise AI and Generative AI strategies and roadmaps.

• Design end-to-end AI/ML and GenAI solution architectures for complex

enterprise requirements.

• Architect solutions involving LLMs, RAG, AI Agents, NLP, Machine Learning,

and conversational AI.

• Evaluate AI technologies, models, platforms, and frameworks based on business

requirements.

• Define architecture standards covering scalability, security, performance,

integration, governance, and cost optimization.

• Establish best practices for responsible AI, data privacy, AI governance, and

model lifecycle management.

• Provide technical leadership across multiple AI initiatives and programs.

Client Engagement & Consulting

• Act as a senior AI advisor to clients and business stakeholders.

• Engage with CXO, business, product, and technology leadership to understand

business challenges.

• Conduct AI discovery workshops, ideation sessions, architecture reviews,

and solution workshops.

• Identify and prioritize AI/GenAI use cases based on business value and technical

feasibility.

• Translate business requirements into AI solutions, technical roadmaps, and

implementation plans.

• Present AI strategies, architectures, POCs, and recommendations to senior

stakeholders.

Pre-Sales & Business Development

• Support RFP/RFI responses, proposals, solution presentations, estimations,

and technical discussions.

• Develop AI solution proposals and create compelling business cases for AI

adoption.

• Lead customer demonstrations, POCs, and technical presentations.

• Work closely with sales and account teams to identify and develop new AI

opportunities.

• Contribute to account growth through AI-led consulting and solutioning.

Delivery & Technical Leadership

• Provide architecture and technical direction to AI/ML engineering teams.

• Guide teams from ideation and POC through production deployment and

operationalization.

• Review technical designs and ensure adherence to enterprise architecture

standards.

• Identify technical risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies.

• Mentor senior architects, engineers, and technical leads.

• Collaborate with engineering, data, cloud, security, and delivery teams.

Required Technical Expertise

• 15+ years of experience in IT, technology architecture, consulting, or solution

engineering.

• Strong experience in AI/ML and Generative AI.

• Strong understanding of:

o Large Language Models (LLMs)

o Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)

o AI Agents / Agentic AI

o Prompt Engineering

o NLP

o Machine Learning

o Vector Databases

o LLM orchestration

• Strong knowledge of Python and AI/ML frameworks.

• Experience with cloud AI platforms such as Azure AI / Azure OpenAI, AWS

Bedrock, or Google Vertex AI.

• Knowledge of MLOps / LLMOps, model deployment, monitoring, evaluation, and

governance.

• Experience with APIs, microservices, enterprise integration, data platforms, and

cloud-native architectures.

• Understanding of enterprise security, data governance, privacy, and responsible

AI.

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Artificial

Intelligence, Data Science, or a related discipline.
