AI Automation & Reporting Intern

About the role

Rida runs deliveries for enterprise and healthcare clients where being late has real consequences. Behind every delivery is a chain of events, exceptions and service commitments that has to be tracked, reported and improved. The reporting behind all of that is still partly manual, and you will run the reports with AI doing as much of the work as possible, and at the same time build the automation that removes the manual steps for good, working alongside our operations and engineering teams. By the time your internship ends, these reports should largely run themselves, and the ops team should only need to step in when something genuinely unusual happens, like a system outage.

Key responsibilities

• Run the weekly and monthly client performance reports semi-automated from the start, checking numbers and handling judgement calls
• Map each report end to end: where the data comes from, which steps are still manual, and which of those can be automated
• Work with our operations and engineering teams to get those steps automated, testing each one against a live reporting cycle before anyone relies on it
• Document every workflow you build, clearly enough that it runs without you
• Track service level performance and delivery exceptions, and flag patterns that need attention rather than just logging them
• Support incident reporting: pull the timeline, get the facts straight, draft the report
• Help test and improve our internal AI agents by finding where they get things wrong

About you

• Available full-time, five days a week, for at least three months
• Comfortable and curious with AI tools
• Interested in automating your own work away, and not precious about it
• Careful with data and notice when a number looks wrong
• Clear written English, and able to explain an operational issue to someone who was not there
• Proactive on problems and chase the answer rather than waiting to be asked twice
• Comfortable juggling several open threads without dropping one
