AI Automation & Solutions Engineer

About the role

Ryvo is hiring an AI Automation & Solutions Engineer to help improve how businesses operate using AI, automation, and better systems. You will work across both Ryvo and our clients to understand existing workflows, identify where work can be automated or improved, and build practical solutions. This is a hands-on role where you will be expected to build and deploy working systems, not just make recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Review existing business workflows and identify opportunities for automation
• Meet with employees and managers to understand how work is currently being done
• Recommend practical uses of AI and automation
• Design and build automated workflows
• Integrate different software platforms using APIs and webhooks
• Build AI-powered tools and internal systems
• Automate repetitive administrative and operational tasks
• Test systems before deployment and troubleshoot errors and failed integrations
• Document workflows and technical setups, and measure the impact of completed projects
• Work directly with Ryvo clients to understand their operations and implement solutions

About you

• Strong practical experience with workflow automation, integrations, and AI tools
• Experience with several of the following: n8n, Make, Zapier, OpenAI API, Anthropic / Claude API, REST APIs, Webhooks, JSON, OAuth, SQL and databases, Python, JavaScript or TypeScript, Git / GitHub, AI agents and LLM workflows, SaaS integrations, debugging and error handling
• Strong enough technical fundamentals to learn new systems quickly
• Has built real automations used in production
• Can understand business operations, not just technology
• Can work independently and identify opportunities without waiting for detailed instructions
• Can explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical people
• Thinks about reliability, security, and failure cases
• Knows when AI is useful and when a simpler solution is better
• Strong written and spoken English required; comfortable working with U.S.-based management, employees, and clients
