We are recruiting an experienced AI Automation Engineer to join a global leader in industrial engineering and advanced technology, supporting the development of machine learning, computer vision and autonomous systems.

This opportunity is ideal for an engineer with strong Python programming skills and hands-on experience working with camera and LiDAR sensor data, machine learning models and automated data processing workflows.

You'll play a key role in improving the quality, accuracy and efficiency of datasets used to develop and deploy advanced AI and perception technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop Python-based automation for sensor data ingestion, processing, validation and quality assurance.
• Train, fine-tune, evaluate and support the deployment of machine learning models.
• Design and optimise data collection pipelines for camera and LiDAR sensor datasets.
• Develop automated data annotation, ground truth generation and validation workflows.
• Identify dataset quality issues, labelling defects and model performance gaps.
• Implement improvements to annotation accuracy, dataset consistency and overall ML performance.
• Build reporting tools to monitor dataset health, model performance and workflow efficiency.
• Collaborate with AI, data engineering and quality teams to deliver scalable automation solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on Python development and automation experience.
• Practical experience training, fine-tuning and deploying machine learning models .
• Experience working with computer vision, perception systems or autonomous technologies .
• Knowledge of camera and LiDAR sensor datasets , including data collection and processing.
• Experience developing data pipelines, annotation workflows and ground truth datasets.
• Understanding of data validation, annotation quality assurance and dataset accuracy.
• Familiarity with ML model evaluation, experiment tracking, version control and deployment practices.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and cross-functional communication skills.
