AI Coach

Requirement

• Production experience building LLM-based features or agents
• Hands-on experience with agent development: tool calling, context management, evaluation
• A genuine passion for sharing knowledge and teaching other engineers
• Client-facing experience: consulting, pre-sales or technical account work with external stakeholders
• Able to translate a client's or department's business needs into scoped AI use cases with measurable outcomes
• Comfortable presenting to non-technical decision makers and explaining AI trade-offs in business terms
• Fluent written and spoken English for client work
• Daily user of AI coding assistants (e.g. Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor), able to teach both their strengths and limits
• Follows the AI field closely and can separate real capability shifts from hype

Nice to have

• Experience writing proposals or statements of work for AI projects
• Experience in a software services or outsourcing company
• Experience designing assessments or certification items
• Experience hosting and benchmarking open-weight models
• Experience building retrieval-augmented or memory systems

Responsibilities

Internal AI enablement

• Own the internal AI training program for developers, from foundations through to role-specific sessions
• Design hands-on curricula covering LLM fundamentals, prompt and context engineering, and agent development
• Write reference material developers use in daily work: guides, cheatsheets, demo code
• Maintain and extend the AI competency assessment: role-based item banks, scoring schemes, threshold analysis
• Run AI adoption discovery with heads of department and produce written playbooks with prioritized use cases
• Track AI adoption metrics and measure productivity and quality improvements
• Support teams in following AI governance and compliance guidelines
• Evaluate AI tools, coding agents and models, including locally hosted models; prototype where needed and recommend what to adopt
• Share lessons learned across teams and branches
• Track new AI models, tools and trends; keep teams and leadership up to date on what matters and what is hype

Client AI strategy and business development

• Join client meetings with leadership to understand the client's business and identify where AI create svalue
• Shape AI strategy and roadmaps for clients: use cases, priorities, delivery approach, risks
• Train and coach client teams on effective and responsible use of AI tools in their daily work
• Support business development: proposals, demos, workshops and presentations that show what Axon Active can deliver with AI
• Act as the technical AI voice in pre-sales, able to answer client questions on feasibility, cost and risk
• Build demos and proof-of-concepts that back client proposals
• Brief clients on relevant AI developments and what they mean for their business
