AI Community Manager

Role Description The AI Community Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Chicago, IL. This role is responsible for building, engaging, and supporting a community of members interested in AI tools, applications, and innovation. Day-to-day activities include moderating online and in-person discussions, creating and curating AI-related content, organizing community events and workshops, and responding to member questions and feedback. The AI Community Manager will collaborate with internal teams to develop community initiatives, analyze engagement metrics, and continuously improve the member experience. This role also involves identifying community trends, gathering insights, and advocating for member needs to help shape TSPN’s AI-related programs and offerings.

Qualifications

• Community management and engagement experience, including moderating discussions, fostering positive interactions, and building member relationships.
• Knowledge of AI concepts and applications, with the ability to explain AI topics in clear, accessible language for diverse audiences.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience creating newsletters, posts, event announcements, and educational content.
• Event planning and coordination skills for organizing workshops, meetups, and community activities, both small and large scale.
• Experience with social media platforms, online community tools, and basic analytics to track and optimize community engagement.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, manage multiple projects, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfort interacting with diverse community members and facilitating inclusive, respectful dialogue.
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, social sciences, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Prior experience in tech, innovation, or education-focused organizations is beneficial.
