The role in short

At Cheffelo, AI is part of how the work actually gets done. Recipe and food images are already produced with AI in an in-house setup, and Cheffelo is now looking for someone to take day-to-day ownership of it by producing the images, keeping the quality high and making the setup better over time. You get real influence over which models are used and how the workflow develops, in a flat organisation with short decision lines and a high level of trust. Your work goes straight into recipes, web and media. If you have produced images with AI and understand how the technology behind them works, this role makes use of both.

About the role

You will be Cheffelo's delivery function for recipe and food images. Your main internal customers are the recipe developers, but you will also deliver to media, web and the wider growth team. You take incoming requests, produce the images in the AI setup and make sure they are realistic, appealing and delivered on time.

You are part of the Brand & Partnership team and work closely with chefs, photographers and designers, who together with you make sure the images match what customers actually get on their plate. The setup is one of several AI solutions used across Cheffelo, and you will be the person who knows it best.

What you will do

• Produce recipe and food images with AI based on requests from recipe developers, media and web
• Adapt image material to different formats and channels
• Work iteratively in the AI setup until the images are realistic, appealing and sell the dish
• Quality-check images together with chefs, photographers and designers
• Evaluate new models and switch when the results get better
• Develop prompts and update reference material
• Troubleshoot the workflow when it does not deliver as it should, and find the best solution

About you

You follow how AI develops out of your own interest, try new tools and models, and suggest improvements without anyone asking. You deliver what has been requested on time and you do not let an image through that is only almost right. You see the people who place requests as your customers and you welcome feedback from chefs, designers and more senior creatives. You keep the quality up when many requests come in at once, and you prioritise between them yourself.

What you bring

• Relevant experience of producing images with AI that have been used commercially, ideally recipe, food or product images that are realistic, appealing and sell
• A strong visual eye for quality assurance, so you see when a dish does not look like it will on the plate, when details are off or when the style is wrong, and you know how to fix it in the prompt or in post-production
• Experience of final editing in Photoshop, including its built-in AI features
• A technical understanding of AI-driven production workflows and how models, prompts, reference material and each step in the flow affect the result
• The ability to evaluate and switch models, adjust hard-coded prompts and find the cause when the workflow does not deliver, and find a fix
• Experience with tools such as Claude and Gemini is welcome, and experience with n8n or similar automation tools is a plus
