AI Data Analyst

We’re Hiring: AI Data Analyst | Penang, Malaysia

Location: Penang, Malaysia

Contract: 1 Year (Renewable / Extendable)

Are you passionate about AI, Generative AI, Data Analytics, and Business Automation ? We are looking for an AI Data Analyst to drive AI-powered business transformation, develop intelligent data solutions, and turn complex datasets into actionable business insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
• Develop Power BI dashboards, reports, DAX measures, and data models.
• Build Python scripts and automation solutions to improve business efficiency.
• Develop AI solutions using Generative AI, LLMs, Agentic AI, Prompt Engineering, and RAG.
• Leverage Databricks for data processing, analytics, and AI development.
• Build AI proof-of-concepts and production-ready applications.
• Integrate data from multiple enterprise systems and ensure data quality and governance.
• Collaborate with technical, engineering, IT, and business stakeholders to identify AI and automation opportunities.

Required Skills

• Strong Python programming and SQL/database knowledge
• Hands-on experience with Power BI, DAX, and data modelling
• Practical experience with Databricks
• Knowledge of Generative AI, LLMs, Agentic AI, Prompt Engineering, and RAG
• Experience in data analytics, visualization, and enterprise data integration
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Skills

• Azure AI Services, OpenAI, LangChain, or similar frameworks
• AI copilots and enterprise AI application development
• Cloud platforms, modern data architecture, and automated reporting

Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Science, AI/ML, Software Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.
