AI Data Engineer

Job Summary Join our dynamic team dedicated to modernizing enterprise portfolio planning and operational reporting. In this role, you will leverage advanced AI solutions, automation, and business intelligence to streamline hardware roadmaps and transform manual data processes into real-time, interactive visual dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate existing operational workflows and implement AI-driven automation to eliminate manual effort and data friction.
• Aggregate and integrate complex dataset sources across enterprise platforms into single sources of truth with automated refresh and governance.
• Design, deploy, and maintain advanced Power BI dashboards alongside generative-AI capabilities for automated reporting and natural-language queries.
• Collaborate closely with team leadership to translate operational requirements into scalable technical solutions and executive-level analytics.
• Document technical architecture, train end-users, and measure cycle-time improvements and hours saved.

Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

4+ years of professional experience in data engineering, business intelligence, or analytics automation.

2+ years of hands-on experience building production generative-AI solutions (e.g., Azure OpenAI, Copilot Studio, AI Builder).

Advanced proficiency in Power BI (DAX, M/Power Query, data modeling) and client Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps).

Solid experience with SQL, Python, Azure DevOps APIs/OData, and SharePoint Online data integration.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to showcase technical demos to stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications Experience with client Fabric, Dataverse, KQL, or Power Platform ALM.

Relevant certifications in Power BI, Azure AI, or Power Platform.

Experience working with supply chain, hardware planning, or product portfolio datasets.
