AI Design Development Engineer (Claude)

W2/1099 Only - No C2C or 3rd Party Candidate

Looking for a hands-on AI Engineer to design, build, and deploy AI-powered alert triage and investigation solutions using Claude AI and Splunk.

Must-Have Requirements:

• 3+ years building AI/LLM applications and agent-based workflows
• Strong experience with Claude API, Agent SDK, and MCP (Model Context Protocol)
• Python development with async/queue-based architectures
• Splunk integration and tool orchestration experience
• Prompt engineering and structured AI outputs (verdicts, confidence scores, citations)
• Cloud deployment, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and Secrets Management
• Experience with evaluation frameworks, shadow testing, and AI observability

Nice to Have:

• Security/SOC automation experience
• LLM cost optimization and model routing strategies
