AI-Driven Software Developer

Star Solutions is looking for an experienced and innovative AI-Driven Software Developer to join our team in Jhelum, Pakistan. The ideal candidate will have strong software development skills and practical experience using AI-powered coding tools to design, develop, test, debug, and maintain complete software applications.

We are seeking a developer who can turn business requirements into functional, reliable, and scalable software solutions by combining traditional programming expertise with modern AI-assisted development techniques.

The successful candidate should be comfortable working independently, solving complex technical problems, reviewing AI-generated code, and delivering high-quality software from initial planning to deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain complete software applications using AI-assisted development tools.
• Use AI coding assistants and development agents to improve coding efficiency and accelerate project delivery.
• Build responsive web applications, dashboards, APIs, backend systems, and database integrations.
• Write clean, maintainable, efficient, and well-structured code.
• Review, validate, debug, and optimize AI-generated code before implementation.
• Identify and resolve software bugs, performance issues, and technical problems.
• Integrate third-party APIs, databases, authentication systems, and external services.
• Conduct software testing and ensure application functionality, security, and reliability.
• Collaborate with management to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Maintain existing applications, implement new features, and improve system performance.
• Document technical processes and follow software development best practices.

Required Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong knowledge of at least one modern programming language and its associated development ecosystem.
• Practical experience building and maintaining complete software applications.
• Experience using AI-powered development tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude, or comparable tools.
• Knowledge of frontend and backend development, APIs, databases, and application architecture.
• Ability to identify errors in AI-generated code and independently implement appropriate solutions.
• Understanding of Git, version control, debugging, and software testing.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work on-site in Jhelum, Pakistan.
• A portfolio, GitHub repository, or examples of completed projects will be an advantage.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with React.js, Next.js, or other modern frontend frameworks.
• Backend development using Node.js, Python, PHP/Laravel, or comparable technologies.
• Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with cloud deployment, CI/CD, and application security.
• Experience building AI-powered applications, integrating language models, or automating development workflows.
• Ability to independently take a project from requirements gathering to deployment.

What We Expect

We are looking for a developer who can do more than generate code using AI. The candidate must understand the code being produced, make sound technical decisions, test the final product, and take responsibility for delivering working software.

Candidates should be prepared to discuss their previous projects, development workflow, AI tools, and real-world problem-solving experience during the interview.
