Job Title: GitHub Copilot Developer / AI Productivity Engineer

Job Summary: Skilled developer with hands-on experience using GitHub Copilot and AI-assisted development tools to convert Power apps prototype to Enterprise grade production ready code. The ideal candidate should have strong programming skills, experience with modern software development practices, and a passion for leveraging AI tools in the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate directly with insurance SMEs to understand business requirements and translate them rapidly into working software
• Take business prototypes developed in Power Apps /power platform and rapidly convert them into Enterprise grade production software.
• Integrate GitHub Copilot and other AI development tools into Development cycle to accelerate code development and improve developer productivity.
• Review AI-generated code for quality, security, performance, and compliance with coding standards.
• Contribute to technical design discussions and help shape how the team approaches AI-accelerated development

Required Skills:

• GitHub Copilot, Generative AI, Prompt Engineering, GitHub, Software Development, Code Review, Azure/AWS, CI/CD
• Hands-on experience with GitHub Copilot or similar AI coding assistants.
• Strong programming skills in React, Vite, .Net and SQL
• Experience with Git, GitHub, or similar version control systems.
• Experience with using Azure DevOps, Azure key vault, Azure ID,
• Experience with REST APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP).
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Background or exposure to insurance, financial services, or a similarly regulated industry
• Familiarity with low code to pro-code migration patterns
• Knowledge of LLMs, Prompt Engineering, and Generative AI concepts.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of software development experience. Minimum 2 years experience with GitHub code development
• Experience implementing AI-assisted development tools in enterprise environments is preferred.
