B2B: 21 000 - 29 400 PLN nett/monthly + VAT

As an AI Agent Engineer (Java), you will be working for our client, a leader in cutting-edge AI solutions. You will help build a fully automated, decision-supporting AI agent system from scratch, supporting a groundbreaking, multi-year strategic project focused on delivering innovative business automation and data analysis tools. You will join a newly built team, working on a brand-new product rather than maintaining or rewriting legacy code. Your main responsibilities:

• Design and develop AI agents to support decision-making within a new, critical business process.
• Create solutions for data analysis and documentation gap detection.
• Orchestrate AI agents and integrate them with backend Java systems and process workflows.
• Ensure agent reliability, quality, and performance consistency.
• Collaborate closely with product owners, business analysts, and AI specialists on building the product from the ground up.
• Work with Data Scientists and Data Engineers to optimize data pipelines, models, and workflows.
• Conduct testing and monitoring of agents, including control and escalation mechanisms.
• Stay informed on AI tools, methodologies, and emerging trends to enhance project delivery.

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• 7+ years of experience in software development, including min. 2 years with AI, machine learning, or data engineering.
• Proven knowledge of Azure AI Foundry and related Azure ecosystem services.
• Practical experience designing and implementing agentic AI solutions, including context search, vectorization, and knowledge base integration.
• Solid background in programming, preferably in Java or a similar language, with understanding of SDLC, CI/CD, automated testing, and code review processes.
• Ability to quickly prototype ideas, validate hypotheses, and operate in experimental R&D environments.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub, GitLab, and SonarQube.
• Strong problem-solving skills, autonomy in analysis, and effective communication with technical and non-technical teams.

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Knowledge of Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with monitoring and improving AI systems.
• Certifications in AI, Data Science, or related fields.

Language required for the role:

• Polish (good command)
• English (fluent)
