AI Engineer / AI Architect Consultant

Locations: Dallas, Seattle, Atlanta, Chicago, or New York

Work Model: Hybrid (3 days onsite minimum)

Travel: Varies based on client engagement

Overview

We're seeking experienced AI Engineers and AI Architects to help enterprise clients design, build, and deploy AI solutions at scale. This is a client-facing consulting role focused on solving complex business challenges using Generative AI, Agentic AI, data platforms, and modern cloud technologies.

The position offers the opportunity to work across strategy, architecture, engineering, and delivery while helping organizations move AI initiatives from proof of concept to production.

What You'll Do

AI Architect

• Design enterprise AI and data architectures
• Lead client workshops and solutioning sessions
• Assess current-state environments and define future-state roadmaps
• Establish AI governance and responsible AI frameworks
• Partner with business and technical stakeholders to drive adoption
• Guide engineering teams through implementation

AI Engineer

• Build AI agents and agentic workflows
• Develop GenAI, LLM, and RAG-powered applications
• Create APIs, inference pipelines, and production AI services
• Deploy and monitor AI solutions in cloud environments
• Implement governance, security, and observability controls
• Build reusable frameworks and accelerators

Must-Have Qualifications

AI Engineer

• 5+ years of software engineering, platform engineering, or AI/ML engineering experience
• Hands-on experience building and deploying AI solutions
• Strong experience with:
• Agentic AI
• LLMs and Generative AI
• RAG architectures
• Function calling and tool use
• Vector databases
• LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, Semantic Kernel, or similar frameworks
• AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Strong backend engineering foundation
• Production deployment experience

AI Architect

• Experience designing enterprise AI and data architectures
• Strong client-facing consulting and solutioning background
• Expertise in data governance and AI governance
• Experience presenting to both business and technical stakeholders
• AWS, Azure, or GCP architecture experience
• Ability to translate business challenges into scalable technical solutions
