AI Engineer – Business Systems & Automation

About the role

The AI Engineer will work with management and different departments to identify business challenges and develop practical AI, software and automation solutions. The role will focus on applying AI across sales, quotations and costing, engineering, ERP/CRM, operations, supply chain and management reporting. This is a hands-on role requiring the candidate to understand business requirements and personally build, integrate and deploy solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop AI applications, internal tools, agents and workflow automations.
• Apply LLMs, RAG and other AI technologies to practical business problems.
• Develop internal AI knowledge and information retrieval tools.
• Develop tools to improve quotation and costing workflows efficiency and speed.
• Extract and process information from RFQs, BOMs, specifications and technical documents.
• Integrate AI and automation with Odoo ERP/CRM and other business systems.
• Build APIs, data gathering and pipelines and automated workflows.
• Develop dashboards and automated management reporting.
• Analyses sales, quotation, pricing and operational data.
• Work with the engineering team to develop tools for technical document analysis, BOM processing and product information.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI, Data Science or related discipline.
• 2–5+ years’ experience in software development, AI engineering or automation.
• Strong programming skills, preferably Python.
• Practical experience with LLMs / Generative AI.
• Experience with APIs, SQL databases and system integrations.
• Understanding of RAG, AI agents, vector databases or similar technologies.
• Experience with cloud applications and deployment.
• Ttechnical industry experience is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to independently take projects from concept through deployment.
• Good English communication skills; Thai language capability is highly desirable.
