Working Arrangement

• Hybrid working environment.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and integrate AI features on the eddi platform: AI Companion, RAG pipelines, Knowledge Map, and AI Instructional Design.
• Develop and refine LLM pipelines: prompt engineering, embeddings, vector search, and LLM API integration (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, or equivalent).
• Build backend APIs for AI features together with the engineering team.
• Test and evaluate AI output quality (response quality, relevance, groundedness) and handle common failure cases.
• Experiment with and prototype new AI technologies, carrying features from prototyping and integration through testing and deployment.
• Collaborate with the Product Manager and development team in an Agile workflow.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1-2 years of hands-on AI work experience (AI/ML/LLM application development).

• Prior professional experience as a software developer.

• A referenceable portfolio - e.g., GitHub repositories, demo projects, or production systems you have built, with at least one professional reference submitted with your application.

• Basic proficiency in Python, with a good understanding of OOP, data structures, algorithms, APIs, and software development fundamentals.

• Basic understanding of Machine Learning, LLMs, prompt engineering, embeddings, vector search, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to design scalable automation architecture.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Self-driven, adaptable, and eager to learn new technologies.

• Ability to work both collaboratively within a team and independently in a stand-alone environment.

Nice to Have:

• Thai NLP experience (Thai tokenization, Thai-language embeddings and retrieval).
• EdTech or learning-platform domain experience.
• Vector databases (pgvector, Qdrant, Pinecone) and FastAPI.
• Deploying AI systems on cloud infrastructure (Azure preferred).
