AI Engineer

About the role

This full-time AI Engineer role is based in Pasig and follows a hybrid work arrangement, allowing a combination of on-site and work-from-home days. The AI Engineer will design, develop, and optimize AI models and tools that support language translation, localization, and related services.

Key responsibilities

• Build and train machine learning and neural network models
• Implement and refine Natural Language Processing (NLP) pipelines
• Integrate AI components into production-grade software systems
• Collaborate with software developers, linguists, and product teams to understand requirements
• Conduct experiments and evaluate model performance
• Deploy scalable AI solutions
• Maintain documentation and ensure code quality
• Stay current with emerging AI and NLP technologies relevant to multilingual applications

About you

• Strong foundation in Computer Science and Pattern Recognition, with the ability to design and analyze algorithms and data structures
• Hands-on experience with Neural Networks and machine learning frameworks for building and training AI models
• Proficiency in Software Development, including coding, testing, and deploying applications in modern programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, or similar)
• Practical experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP), such as text classification, machine translation, language modeling, or sentiment analysis
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and MLOps practices for model deployment, monitoring, and optimization
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to building reliable, ethical, and inclusive AI systems
• Experience in multilingual or translation-related projects, or interest in language technologies, is an advantage
