AI Engineer – NLP, LLM & Customer Sentiment Analytics

Position is contingent upon contract award.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced AI Engineer to support the design, development, integration, and deployment of an AI-enabled social media and customer feedback analytics platform for a major airport environment. The role will focus on NLP, Machine Learning, LLMs, multilingual sentiment analysis, automated insights, and integration of data from social media, review, and online platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy NLP, Machine Learning, and LLM-based solutions for sentiment analysis, classification, summarization, and trend detection.
• Analyze social media posts, comments, reviews, ratings, and customer feedback across multiple platforms.
• Develop sentiment analysis for text, images, acronyms, keywords, and contextual references, including terms such as ATL and Atlanta Airport.
• Support English and Spanish multilingual sentiment analysis.
• Integrate social media and online review platforms through secure APIs and automated data pipelines.
• Use Hugging Face Transformers, LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, and comparable AI frameworks.
• Develop RAG, embeddings, vector search, prompt engineering, and LLM-powered analytics where appropriate.
• Integrate AI analytics with Microsoft Power BI and cloud environments including Azure and/or AWS.
• Develop automated alerts, executive summaries, trend analysis, and actionable insights.
• Support real-time and scheduled data processing and refreshes.
• Monitor AI model performance, sentiment accuracy, data quality, and system reliability.
• Support technical demonstrations, testing, UAT, deployment, training, documentation, and post-implementation support.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in AI, Machine Learning, NLP, data science, or software engineering.
• Strong experience with NLP, ML, LLMs, and sentiment analysis.
• Proficiency in Python and modern AI/ML development.
• Experience with Hugging Face, PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, Pandas, NumPy, and/or spaCy.
• Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, or comparable LLM frameworks.
• Experience with LLM platforms such as OpenAI/Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or open-source models.
• Experience with RAG, embeddings, vector databases, prompt engineering, and semantic search.
• Experience developing REST APIs, data pipelines, and automated data synchronization.
• Experience with Azure and/or AWS.
• Experience integrating analytics solutions with Microsoft Power BI.
• Experience with multilingual NLP, particularly English and Spanish.
• Strong understanding of AI security, data privacy, responsible AI, and enterprise data integration.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with social listening, customer experience, reputation management, or sentiment analytics.
• Experience supporting airports, transportation agencies, government/public-sector organizations, or large enterprises.
• Experience with SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, GDPR, CCPA, or comparable security standards.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, CI/CD, MLflow, or other MLOps technologies.
• Experience deploying production AI systems with 95%+ availability and automated monitoring.
• Experience preparing and presenting live technical demonstrations of AI, analytics, dashboards, and data integrations.

Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1.0 – 10.0 per week
