AI Engineer – Construction Projects

Location: Sharjah, UAE

Job Summary

We are looking for an AI Engineer with experience in construction projects to develop and implement AI solutions that improve project monitoring, site productivity, safety, quality, and planning.

The candidate will work closely with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Planning Engineers, QA/QC, HSE, and BIM teams to apply AI to real construction-site challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop AI and Machine Learning solutions for construction projects and site operations.
• Develop Computer Vision solutions for site progress, safety, PPE compliance, and quality monitoring.
• Analyze project data to identify delays, risks, productivity issues, and project trends.
• Develop AI tools for construction progress tracking and reporting.
• Apply AI to analyze drawings, BOQs, specifications, site reports, RFIs, and other project documents.
• Support AI applications related to BIM, project scheduling, and construction planning.
• Develop predictive models for project delays, productivity, and construction risks.
• Work with project teams to identify opportunities for AI automation and improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in AI/ML Engineering, preferably within the construction or engineering industry.
• Strong experience in Python, Machine Learning, and Computer Vision.
• Knowledge of Generative AI, LLMs, and predictive analytics.
• Experience with construction project data and technical documents.
• Knowledge of BIM, Revit, Navisworks, Primavera P6, or similar construction software is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work directly with construction project and site teams.

Preferred Candidate

Candidates with proven experience in AI applications for construction, such as site progress monitoring, safety detection, quality inspection, delay prediction, productivity analysis, or BIM-related AI solutions, will be highly preferred.
