AI Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced AI Engineer to join our dynamic technology team. This is a full-time position based in Lai Chi Kok, Sham Shui Po District. As an AI Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and deploying artificial intelligence solutions that drive innovation across our organisation. This position is integral to our strategic objectives, enabling us to leverage cutting-edge AI technologies to solve complex business challenges and deliver enhanced products and services to our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy different AI models to address business problems and improve operational efficiency
• Build and optimise data pipelines to support AI and machine learning workflows
• Implement and deploy AI solutions in production environments, ensuring scalability and reliability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to integrate AI capabilities into existing systems
• Conduct research and evaluation of emerging AI technologies and frameworks to maintain competitive advantage
• Develop and maintain documentation for AI systems, models, and algorithms
• Perform code reviews and contribute to best practices in AI engineering and software development
• Monitor and troubleshoot deployed AI models, addressing performance issues and retraining as necessary
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering through to maintenance and support

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ ML Engineering, or a related discipline
• 3+ years of professional experience in software engineering or AI development
• Proficiency in Python
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles
• Experience with cloud platforms is highly desirable
• Familiarity with containerisation technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes, is preferred
• Knowledge of version control systems, such as Git, and experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment
• Experience with big data technologies, data engineering, or data analysis is a valuable advantage
