AI Engineer

We are seeking an AI Engineer with strong software development skills to design, develop, and deploy AI-enabled applications that solve practical business problems.

This is a hands-on development role involving generative AI, large language models (LLMs), backend development, and integration with business applications. The ideal candidate should be comfortable taking a feature from initial experimentation through to production deployment.

Responsibilities

• ⁠ ⁠Design, develop, test, and deploy AI-enabled applications and backend services.
• ⁠ ⁠Integrate LLMs and AI services into applications through APIs.
• ⁠ ⁠Build document processing, knowledge search, and conversational features using retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), embeddings, and vector databases.
• ⁠ ⁠Develop AI workflows that connect with business systems, databases, and external tools.
• ⁠ ⁠Write clean, maintainable code and develop REST APIs for web and mobile applications.
• ⁠ ⁠Evaluate and improve AI output quality, reliability, response time, and operating cost.
• ⁠ ⁠Implement appropriate access controls and safeguards for business and customer data.
• ⁠ ⁠Collaborate with frontend, mobile, and cloud teams for end-to-end feature delivery.
• ⁠ ⁠Document application architecture, workflows, integrations, and test cases.

Requirements

• ⁠Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• ⁠ ⁠Minimum 2 years of hands-on software development experience, including practical experience building AI-enabled applications.
• ⁠ ⁠Strong proficiency in Python and experience with a backend framework such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• ⁠ ⁠Hands-on experience integrating LLM APIs and applying prompt engineering techniques.
• ⁠ ⁠Working knowledge of RAG, embeddings, vector search, and document ingestion.
• ⁠ ⁠Experience developing REST APIs and working with SQL or NoSQL databases.
• ⁠ ⁠Understanding of authentication, error handling, logging, and application testing.
• ⁠ ⁠Familiarity with Git and deployment to a cloud environment.
• ⁠ ⁠Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• ⁠ ⁠Experience with frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or equivalent tools.
• ⁠ ⁠Familiarity with Azure AI services, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• ⁠ ⁠Experience with tool calling, structured AI outputs, and automated workflows.
• ⁠ ⁠Exposure to open-source models, model deployment, or fine-tuning.
• ⁠ ⁠Knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, React, or .NET for application integration.
• ⁠ ⁠Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
