About the Role

7 Kings Code is hiring two entry-level AI Engineers to join the team behind AI Sale Agent, an AI-powered voice sales platform running live outbound campaigns for paying customers.

You will work on a live production AI product and contribute to AI and automation projects for 7 Kings Code clients.

This is a hands-on, learning-focused role for developers with foundational software engineering skills and practical experience integrating AI APIs. You will implement features, fix bugs, develop integrations, and improve AI-agent configurations under the guidance of the Senior AI Engineer / Team Lead.

We are looking for candidates with strong potential, a willingness to learn, and the ability to grow into increasingly independent engineering roles over their first 6–12 months.

Both positions are individual-contributor roles with no direct reports. The two engineers will work closely together and support each other's development.

Key Responsibilities

• Python Development: Build and maintain features, components, and utility scripts according to technical specifications and acceptance criteria.
• LLM Integration: Integrate language model APIs, handle structured outputs, manage errors, and implement retries, timeouts, and logging.
• Prompt Engineering: Draft, update, and test AI-agent prompts and campaign configurations under technical supervision.
• API Integrations: Develop and maintain integrations with CRM, lead-generation, and telephony platforms using APIs and webhooks.
• Bug Fixing: Reproduce reported issues, investigate logs, identify root causes, implement fixes, and verify results.
• Testing: Write and execute tests, including simulated call scenarios, to validate AI-agent behavior before deployment.
• Internal Tools: Build scripts, utilities, and dashboards to support campaign configuration, monitoring, and reporting.
• Data Processing: Assist with lead imports, data cleanup, bulk configuration updates, and call or transcript extraction.
• Documentation: Document implementation details, API behavior, configuration procedures, and known limitations.
• Code Reviews: Submit code for review, incorporate feedback, and participate in reviewing teammates' contributions.
• Continuous Learning: Develop practical expertise in Python, LLM applications, backend engineering, and the AI Sale Agent platform.

Your daily work will involve developing assigned features, attending technical stand-ups, running test calls, reviewing transcripts, updating prompts under supervision, and assisting with deployments and monitoring.

Required Qualifications

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

• At least 1 year of professional software development experience. A paid, full-time development internship of six months or more may count when it involves substantial hands-on coding. Academic projects alone do not qualify.
• At least 6 months of hands-on experience integrating LLMs or AI APIs, including writing code that sends requests to models and processes their outputs.
• Intermediate Python programming skills, assessed through a practical coding exercise.
• A demonstrable software project that you can explain in technical detail, including challenges, debugging, and implementation decisions.
• Practical Git experience, including branches, commits, and pull requests in a team environment.
• Experience integrating REST APIs, handling errors and unexpected responses, and basic backend endpoint development.
• Working knowledge of JSON, data handling, and SQL fundamentals using PostgreSQL, MySQL, or an equivalent database.
• Ability to debug issues using logs, reproduce errors, and investigate their causes.
• Good written and spoken English, with particular emphasis on clear technical communication.
• Willingness to accept feedback, learn from technical reviews, and demonstrate improvements.
• Full-time availability for on-site work during the specified US-hours shift.
• Willingness to complete a practical coding and LLM assessment and discuss your solution during a technical interview.

Education: A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field is preferred. Self-taught candidates with verifiable professional development experience and a demonstrable portfolio are welcome. Final-year students are not eligible.

Preferred Skills

The following are beneficial but not mandatory:

• Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
• Voice, speech, or audio APIs, including Whisper, Deepgram, and ElevenLabs.
• Telephony integrations using Twilio or RingCentral.
• Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), embeddings, or vector databases.
• AI agent frameworks such as LangChain or LlamaIndex.
• Basic frontend development using React or similar technologies.
• Docker and cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Automated testing with pytest.
• CRM integrations with GoHighLevel, HubSpot, Salesforce, or Zoho.
• Public coding portfolios, hackathons, or open-source contributions.
• Previous experience with night shifts or US business hours.
• Interest in sales technology and go-to-market automation.

Previous experience with Voice AI, telephony, or RAG is not required. AI coding assistants may be used, provided you understand and can explain the code you submit.

Working Arrangement

• Location: On-site at DHA Phase 8, Lahore, Pakistan.
• Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, aligned with US Eastern business hours.
• Pakistan Timings During US Daylight Saving Time: 5:30 PM – 2:30 AM PKT.
• Pakistan Timings During US Standard Time: 6:30 PM – 3:30 AM PKT.
• Work Model: Remote and hybrid arrangements are not available.
• Supervision: Tasks are scoped and reviewed by the Senior AI Engineer / Team Lead.
• Work Authorization: Candidates must have a valid CNIC and legal authorization to work in Pakistan. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Growth and Career Development

First 30 Days

• Set up the development environment and understand the end-to-end call pipeline.
• Deliver initial code changes to production following review.
• Build a working understanding of the codebase and development workflow.
• Follow Git, code-review, and ticketing processes consistently.

First 60–90 Days

• Deliver assigned features with increasing independence.
• Handle routine bugs from reproduction through testing and documentation.
• Make prompt and configuration changes safely under review.
• Complete at least one moderately complex feature or integration.

Ongoing Development

• Deliver reliable work within agreed timelines.
• Apply review feedback and avoid recurring mistakes.
• Take ownership of increasingly complex engineering tasks.
• Communicate blockers early and provide actionable technical details.

The intended career progression is toward Mid-Level AI Engineer within 12–18 months, depending on demonstrated performance and technical growth. Regular reviews and a structured development plan will support this progression.
