AI Engineer - Full Stack (Python + Node.js)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced AI Engineer with a strong Full Stack Development background and hands-on expertise in Python, Node.js and TypeScript. The ideal candidate should have experience building, integrating and deploying production-ready AI applications using LLMs, Agentic AI, RAG pipelines and scalable backend services.

The candidate should be capable of developing end-to-end AI-powered solutions, integrating frontend applications with backend APIs, and implementing AI orchestration and deployment workflows. Strong hands-on experience in both Python and Node.js (TypeScript) is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy end-to-end AI-powered applications for business use cases.

• Build LLM-powered applications using LangChain, LangGraph, Agentic AI and multi-agent frameworks .

• Develop RAG pipelines using chunking, embeddings, semantic search, retrieval techniques and vector databases.

• Implement prompt engineering, context engineering, tool/function calling, structured outputs and streaming LLM responses.

• Develop scalable backend APIs using Python (FastAPI/Flask/Django) and Node.js (NestJS/Express) .

• Build Node.js/TypeScript services, API gateways, real-time features and AI integration layers.

• Integrate Firebase services, including Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Realtime Database, Cloud Messaging and Storage.

• Integrate AI capabilities into web applications, enterprise platforms and customer-facing products.

• Collaborate with frontend teams and contribute to UI development using React, JavaScript and TypeScript.

• Implement secure authentication and authorization using OAuth2/OIDC, JWT and RBAC.

• Deploy, monitor, test and optimize AI applications in production environments.

• Work with databases, messaging systems and cloud platforms to build reliable, scalable applications.

• Troubleshoot performance issues and improve application scalability, security and user experience.

• Collaborate with product, engineering and business teams to deliver robust AI-driven solutions.

  Mandatory Skills

• 4 6 years of overall software development experience.

• Python and Node.js (TypeScript): 4+ years of hands-on experience in both.

• Python backend development using FastAPI, Flask or Django.

• Node.js development using JavaScript/TypeScript and NestJS or Express.js.

• Hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG, LangChain and LangGraph .

• Prompt engineering, embeddings, chunking, semantic search and vector databases.

• LLM API integration, tool/function calling and streaming responses.

• Full Stack Development and React exposure.

• REST APIs, microservices and system integration.

• Databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB or Redis.

• Experience deploying AI applications in production.

• Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and scalable system design.

• Good problem-solving, communication and teamwork skills.

  Good to Have

• Firebase Authentication, Firestore, Realtime Database, FCM and Firebase Storage.

• Vector databases such as Pinecone, FAISS, Weaviate, Chroma or pgvector.

• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure or GCP.

• Docker, Kubernetes, Git and CI/CD pipelines.

• Messaging systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS, Celery or BullMQ.

• MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers and agent tool integrations.

• Unit and integration testing using Jest or Vitest.

• Observability tools such as OpenTelemetry , Prometheus, Grafana or Datadog.

• Experience building conversational AI, copilots, internal AI tools or enterprise GenAI platforms.

• Knowledge of OAuth2/OIDC, JWT, RBAC and OWASP Top 10.

  **Qualification

Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence or a related field.**
