AI Engineer (LLM, ML)

Our clients, a cognitive solutions and cloud platform company are now looking for potential candidate to join their team as AI Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable AI applications and machine learning models for NLP and computer vision use cases
• Build and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, including embedding, retrieval, and ranking, leveraging Azure AI Search or similar vector-based systems
• Engineer agentic AI workflows with capabilities such as multi-step reasoning, tool-calling, orchestration, and memory management
• Develop and implement end-to-end AI systems, covering architecture design, model integration, system optimization, and cloud deployment
• Work with LLM orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel) to build structured and production-ready AI workflows
• Conduct performance evaluation, tuning, A/B testing, and monitoring of AI systems in production environments
• Deploy and manage AI solutions using containerized environments such as Kubernetes or OpenShift, ensuring scalability and reliability
• Research and prototype emerging AI concepts (e.g., Model Context Protocol) to enhance system interoperability and capabilities
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to integrate AI capabilities into web and mobile applications
• Produce technical documentation, participate in code reviews, and uphold best practices in AI system design and engineering
• Deliver robust, maintainable, and scalable AI solutions that address real-world business problems, with a strong emphasis on system ownership and engineering excellence
  Requirements
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
• 1+ years of experience in AI engineering, machine learning, or software development involving AI systems
• Proven experience building end-to-end AI applications or ML systems in production environments
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred) for deploying AI workloads
• Hands-on experience with Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, or similar technologies for LLM-based systems
• Experience with LLM frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or Semantic Kernel
• Strong programming skills in Python for AI/ML development and system integration
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills in cross-functional environments
