Your new role

The AI Engineer will play a key role within the AI & Automation Factory, contributing to the design, development, and deployment of innovative AI-powered solutions across the organization. With a strong focus on Generative AI and agentic technologies. This professional will help transform business processes through scalable, secure, and production-ready intelligent applications.

This person will work closely with Architects, Product Owners, Analysts, Data Teams, and Business Stakeholders, bridging business needs and technology capabilities while ensuring the successful delivery of high-impact AI initiatives from ideation through implementation and continuous optimization.

The AI Engineer will:

• Design and develop production-ready Generative AI applications leveraging RAG architectures, prompt orchestration, retrieval strategies, and tool/function calling capabilities;
• Build and maintain agentic workflows capable of reasoning, planning, and safely executing actions through enterprise tools, systems, and integrations;
• Develop scalable and maintainable software solutions following modern engineering practices (including automated testing, code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and observability frameworks);
• Collaborate with Architects, Product Owners, Data Teams, and Business Subject Matter Experts to translate business requirements into technical AI solutions with measurable outcomes;
• Integrate AI capabilities into enterprise ecosystems through APIs, event-driven architectures, workflow engines, automation platforms, and business applications;
• Ensure Responsible AI principles, security controls, governance requirements, and compliance standards are embedded throughout the entire solution lifecycle;
• Monitor solution performance, quality, reliability, latency, and cost efficiency, implementing continuous improvements through LLMOps and operational best practices;
• Contribute to the development of reusable frameworks, accelerators, connectors, templates, and engineering standards to support the broader AI & Automation Factory strategy.

A typical day will involve engineering AI-powered applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define requirements, integrating intelligent capabilities into business processes, supporting production environments, monitoring solution performance, and continuously enhancing automation and AI initiatives across a global organization.

What you will need to succeed

As an AI Engineer , you will need:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Information Systems , or a related field;
• +5 years of professional experience working within Software Engineering (Back-End and/or Full-Stack Development), AI Engineering , or related areas;
• Certification in AI, Cloud, Machine Learning, or MLOps technologies (would be a plus);
• Proven experience working with Generative AI technologies (including RAG architecture, prompt engineering, agent frameworks, model orchestration, or tool/function calling );
• Experience working with Cloud platforms, such as Azure, AWS, or GCP (including Cloud-native and containerized environments);
• Experience integrating applications and AI solutions with enterprise platforms through APIs, event-driven architectures, queues, ETL/ELT pipelines, and security controls;
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional and international teams (including Product, Data, Architecture, Security, and Business stakeholders);
• Understanding of monitoring, logging, observability practices, incident management, performance optimization, and operational excellence;
• Knowledge of software development best practices (including testing frameworks, source control, CI/CD processes, resiliency patterns, and production support);
• Knowledge of AI governance, cybersecurity principles, access management, privacy requirements, and Responsible AI practices;
• Excellent communication skills – Fluency in English .
