Your Role

As an AI Engineer Trainee, you will follow a structured development path towards becoming an AI Engineering professional.

Artificial Intelligence is transforming the way organizations innovate, automate processes, and create business value. During the trainee program, you will gain hands-on experience across modern AI technologies and engineering practices.

During the program, you will:

• Participate in AI, Machine Learning, and Generative AI training programs
• Support the development of AI-powered applications and solutions
• Assist in building, training, testing, and deploying AI/ML models
• Work on rapid prototyping, proof-of-concepts, and innovation initiatives
• Contribute to data preparation, model evaluation, and experimentation
• Collaborate with AI engineers, architects, and business stakeholders
• Support the integration of AI solutions with business applications and platforms
• Contribute to testing, documentation, and continuous improvement activities

Who Are We Looking For?

We are looking for graduates who:

• Graduated in 2025 or will graduate in 2026
• Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in: Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Or a related technical discipline
• Have a strong interest in AI, Machine Learning, Data Science, and emerging technologies
• Are eager to learn new technologies and continuously develop themselves
• Enjoy working in collaborative and multicultural environments
• Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Are fluent in Dutch and English
• Are eligible to work in the Netherlands
• Available to start from September 2026

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Python programming
• Exposure to Machine Learning, Deep Learning, or Data Analytics through academic projects, hackathons, internships, or personal projects
• Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software development fundamentals
• Interest in Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), or AI agents
• Exposure to cloud platforms, APIs, data pipelines, or AI frameworks is considered an advantage
• Curiosity about emerging AI tools and technologies

Exposure to Technologies

During the trainee program, you may gain exposure to technologies such as:

• Python and AI/ML frameworks
• Machine Learning and Deep Learning
• Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs)
• Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
• AI orchestration frameworks and AI agents
• Data engineering and data pipelines
• MLOps and model deployment practices
• Cloud-based AI platforms and services

What We Offer

• A structured European graduate trainee program
• Gross annual salary of €42,000 for Bachelor's graduates and €46,000 for Master's graduates
• 8% holiday allowance
• 25 paid vacation days per year
