AI Engineer / Software Programmer

Established for over 10 years at the Hong Kong Science Park, Cyberview is a pioneer in intelligent CCTV and video analytics solutions. We build and deploy mission-critical AI technologies for enterprise and public sectors. Our real-world solutions are trusted by major entities, including the MTR, premium casinos, government departments, and innovative Innovation and Technology Fund (ITF) projects.

As we expand our core Development Team, we are looking for an AI Engineer / Software Programmer who wants to see their code deployed in large-scale, high-impact infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

Full-Lifecycle AI Development: Take charge of the entire pipeline, including data collection, annotation, model training, and fine-tuning for real-time video analytics.

• Core Analytics: Build and refine computer vision models (object detection, tracking, behavior analysis) optimized for continuous CCTV streams.
• Hardware Deployment: Deploy and optimize models across high-performance GPU servers and edge platforms like the NVIDIA Jetson series.
• Performance Optimization: Write efficient, low-latency code using multiprocessing to handle concurrent, multi-channel video streams smoothly.
• System Maintenance: Participate in occasional night shift operations for system monitoring, testing, and critical deployments.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related Science/Engineering discipline.
• Core Programming Languages: Foundational knowledge or proficiency in Python, Bash (shell scripting), and JavaScript.
• Frameworks & Tools: OpenCV, PyTorch and NumPy for model development and data manipulation is preferred.
• Concurrency: Good understanding of Python’s multiprocessing module (or multi-threading) to manage real-time video workloads.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
