About the Role

We're hiring an AI Engineering Tech Lead to run delivery across several AI, GenAI, and automation initiatives at once, most of them built on the Microsoft stack with Copilot Studio at the center. You'll own the plans, the risks, and the status conversations, and you'll keep architects, developers, and business teams pointed at the same outcome.

The engagement is with a global technology consulting firm that runs large-scale digital transformation programs for enterprise clients. It's a 12-month remote contract with a three-step interview process, and the team wants someone who can start as soon as possible.

This role is for an engineering leader who has shipped AI into complex enterprises and knows that governance, dependencies, and stakeholder alignment decide whether a project lands, not the demo.

What You'll Do

• Lead end-to-end delivery of multiple concurrent AI, GenAI, and automation initiatives
• Guide solution work in Microsoft Copilot Studio, with enough hands-on depth to challenge design choices
• Own project plans, timelines, risks, dependencies, and reporting
• Coordinate architects, developers, business teams, and client stakeholders so handoffs don't stall
• Hold every project to AI governance, security, and delivery standards
• Track milestones against business outcomes and value realization, not just dates
• Give executive-level status updates and drive issues to resolution when they come up

Qualifications

• 8+ years as an engineering leader, including at least 3 years leading AI initiatives
• A solid grasp of AI and GenAI solutions, the Microsoft AI ecosystem, and AI governance
• Experience running several AI projects at the same time
• Working familiarity with Microsoft AI Foundry, Copilot Studio, and Power Platform
• Comfort with Agile delivery methods
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills

Nice to Have

• Experience leading enterprise AI transformation programs
• A track record of delivering AI solutions in complex enterprise environments
