AI Filmmaker (Micro Drama)

Role Overview The AI Filmmaker is responsible for independently transforming approved story packages into finished AI films and episodes. The role combines directing, AI generation, cinematography, editing, and post-production, serving as the single creative and technical owner of a production from script interpretation through final delivery.

Core Responsibilities

• Interpret approved scripts and story packages and translate them into a clear visual production approach.
• Develop shot designs, visual references, prompts, and generation strategies appropriate to the story and production requirements.
• Execute end-to-end AI production, including image generation, video generation, performance direction, cinematography, continuity, and visual refinement.
• Direct AI-generated performances, camera movement, composition, pacing, and visual storytelling.
• Maintain consistency of characters, environments, wardrobe, props, lighting, and visual style throughout the production.
• Evaluate generated material critically and regenerate, refine, or replace outputs that do not meet production standards.
• Complete the full post-production process, including editing, dialogue, sound design, music, captions, pacing, and final assembly.
• Ensure the finished episode accurately reflects the approved script and story package.
• Manage AI generation resources responsibly and optimize workflows to achieve the required quality efficiently.
• Submit completed episodes for QA/QC in accordance with established production standards.
• Respond to QA/QC feedback and complete required revisions before final approval.
• Document significant production challenges, solutions, and workflow learnings for sharing with the AI Filmmaking Lead and Knowledge Manager.
• Continuously develop proficiency in emerging AI filmmaking tools, models, and techniques.

Required Capabilities

• Strong filmmaking, video production, editing, or related creative production experience.
• Strong understanding of cinematography, visual storytelling, editing, sound, pacing, and directing.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently across the full production process.
• Strong working knowledge of AI image and video generation tools and AI-assisted production workflows.
• Strong visual judgment and ability to identify and correct AI-generated artifacts and
• inconsistencies.
• Ability to translate written storytelling into effective visual sequences.
• Strong attention to detail, particularly in character, environment, and visual continuity.
• Ability to troubleshoot generation challenges and develop practical solutions.
• Strong time and production management skills.
• Ability to balance creative quality, production speed, and resource efficiency.
• Adaptability and willingness to continuously learn emerging AI filmmaking technologies.
