AI / FinTech Engineer – Junior/Mid Level

We are not looking for a Finance professional directly; we are looking for a Tech professional who is passionate about applying AI and technology to solve real-world problems in the Finance business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the development and implementation of AI- and LLM-powered solutions for financial processes, particularly factoring, Supply Chain Finance (SCF), invoice verification, customer onboarding, and credit workflows.
• Build and improve AI workflows and agent-based solutions using frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, or similar tools.
• Integrate AI solutions with business systems such as ERP, DMS, CRM, credit scoring systems, and financial platforms through APIs and system integration.
• Apply LLMs and AI tools to automate business tasks, such as:

Extracting and classifying information from invoices and financial documents.

Supporting credit analysis and drafting credit-related documents based on financial data.

Assisting with customer onboarding and document verification.

Supporting payment follow-up and other financial operations.

• Explore and apply prompt engineering, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), embeddings, vector databases, and AI memory to improve AI application performance. Prior hands-on experience is a plus, but willingness to learn is essential.
• Support the development of AI agents with tool-use and context-aware capabilities for real-world financial workflows.
• Work with product managers, backend engineers, and finance/credit teams to identify opportunities where AI can improve efficiency, accuracy, and decision-making.
• Test and evaluate different LLM models and AI frameworks to identify suitable solutions for business use cases.
• Stay up to date with emerging AI, LLM, and FinTech technologies and identify opportunities to apply them to financial products and business processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.
• Approximately 2 years of experience in software development, AI/ML, data, or technology-related roles.
• Strong interest in both Finance and Technology, with a willingness to learn and apply technology to financial business processes.
• Good programming skills in Python and familiarity with relevant libraries or frameworks such as FastAPI, LangChain, Hugging Face Transformers, or similar technologies.
• Basic understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, AI agents, RAG, embeddings, and vector databases, or strong willingness to develop these skills.
• Experience or exposure to LLM-based applications or agentic AI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, DSPy, or similar tools is a plus, not a requirement.
• Basic understanding of REST APIs, API integration, and system-to-system communication.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technology solutions.
• Interest in or basic understanding of financial services, lending, factoring, invoice finance, Supply Chain Finance, payments, or credit processes is a strong advantage.
• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and business/finance teams.
• Self-motivated, curious, and willing to learn new technologies in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience developing AI applications or automation solutions for business use cases.
• Familiarity with financial data, invoices, financial statements, or credit-related information.
• Experience with cloud platforms, databases, Git, or software development practices.
• Previous exposure to FinTech, Digital Lending, Factoring, Supply Chain Finance, Banking, or financial platforms would be an advantage, but is not required.
