This is an opportunity to join a greenfield AI initiative where a new engineering team is being built from the ground up to deliver intelligent applications at scale. The initial contract is for 3 months with a strong likelihood of extension, offering the chance to help shape AI development standards, production workflows, and platform architecture from the outset.

The Role and Deliverables

• Build and deliver full stack AI applications with a strong focus on React-based front-end development and modern backend services.
• Integrate LLM and RAG capabilities into production products and internal platforms.
• Develop solutions that leverage AI tooling and workflows, including technologies such as Claude, Codex, and related AI development tools.
• Work across cloud, application, and data environments, supporting integrations with GCP-based infrastructure and Databricks or Snowflake platforms.
• Contribute to documentation, evaluation frameworks, governance processes, and human-in-the-loop workflows for AI systems.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers and AI Operations specialists to establish scalable, secure, and observable AI application architectures.

Requirements

• Strong experience developing full stack applications using React.
• Proven experience integrating LLM, RAG, or agent-based AI systems into production environments.
• Experience building AI-powered products and embedding AI tooling into engineering or business workflows.
• Familiarity with cloud-native development within GCP environments.
• Experience working with Databricks, Snowflake, or similar modern data platforms.
• Understanding of AI governance, evaluation frameworks, monitoring, observability, and human-in-the-loop processes.
• Strong documentation and technical communication skills.
• Ability to operate effectively within fast-paced, collaborative engineering teams.
