What they need

Senior Manager – AI Governance (Belgium) Dutch Fluency Required.

The EU AI Act is law. Most boards still can't tell you what it means for them. You can.

Our client, is investing in its AI governance practice. They want a Senior Manager to help shape it and grow it.

This is not a compliance job!

Nobody here wants a 200-page policy that sits in a drawer. You'll help clients use AI with confidence, turning regulation into governance that is practical, scalable and built to last.

You sit where regulation, business and technology meet. You'll have a real voice in how the practice grows, who it serves and how it shows up in the market.

What a week could look like....

  • Monday: walking a board through what the AI Act means for their GenAI roadmap, in plain language.
  • Tuesday: running an AI risk assessment with a client's data science and legal teams in the same room.
  • Wednesday: designing a governance framework that a busy business will actually use.
  • Thursday: shaping a proposal and meeting a new prospect with your partners.
  • Friday: working out how agentic AI changes the risk picture, and what that means for your clients next quarter.

You'll thrive here if you

  • have spent 8 + years in consulting, risk or regulatory work, and lately AI governance, responsible AI or AI risk has become your thing.
  • know the EU AI Act well enough to explain it to a CEO in five minutes!
  • can talk credibly about data science, machine learning, generative AI and agentic AI, not just the legal text.
  • have led assessments and transformations, and know how to bring senior stakeholders with you.
  • care about data governance, security and compliance, and see how they connect.
  • work fluently in English and Dutch , and are comfortable in French.

Bonus points

  • You enjoy winning work as much as delivering it, and clients keep coming back to you.
  • You're at ease in a boardroom, and just as happy rolling your sleeves up.
  • You see the bigger picture: how the AI Act sits alongside GDPR, the Data Act, DORA and NIS2.
  • You genuinely care about getting AI right, not just getting it signed off.

Coming into AI governance from privacy, model risk or data governance? Some of the best people in this space don't have "AI" in their job title yet. We'd still like to hear from you....

Other offers great for you!
