GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

The AI Integration & DevOps Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining integration services that enable AI agents to interact seamlessly with enterprise systems such as SAP, e-commerce platforms, and web-based order fulfilment applications. The role oversees API development, MCP tool implementation, CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, Kubernetes packaging, and environment migration while ensuring secure, scalable, and reliable production operations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, develop, and maintain APIs and Model Context Protocol (MCP) tools that enable AI agents to communicate with enterprise applications and external platforms.
• Build and support integration interfaces for AI agents to create, monitor, update, and manage transactions across upstream and downstream systems.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Bitbucket, Bamboo, or equivalent tools to automate build, testing, and deployment processes.
• Manage source code branching, merging, release management, and version control across development, test, staging, and production environments.
• Plan and execute deployment and migration of AI agent solutions while ensuring consistency, traceability, rollback readiness, and minimal downtime.
• Create, maintain, and version Helm charts for Kubernetes-based deployment of AI agents and integration services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve API, deployment, migration, and integration issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and error-handling mechanisms to ensure reliability and operational stability.
• Collaborate with AI engineers, SAP specialists, QA teams, platform engineers, and project stakeholders to deliver integration solutions aligned with project milestones.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation including API specifications, MCP tool documentation, deployment guides, architecture diagrams, and operational runbooks.
• Ensure adherence to enterprise security, governance, and software development best practices throughout the integration lifecycle.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

• Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Related Work Experience

  • 4–8 years of experience in Integration Engineering, DevOps Engineering, Platform Engineering, or related software engineering roles.
  • Experience delivering enterprise integration solutions involving SAP, e-commerce, or order fulfilment platforms.
  • Experience supporting production deployments and managing multi-environment application releases.

• Knowledge

  • RESTful APIs, SOAP web services, and enterprise integration patterns.
  • Model Context Protocol (MCP) or similar AI agent integration frameworks.
  • CI/CD tools such as Bitbucket, Bamboo, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
  • Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and container orchestration.
  • Cloud-native deployment architectures and DevOps methodologies.
  • Version control, branching strategies, and release management.
  • Order management and Order-to-Cash (O2C) business processes is an advantage.
