About the Team

The Lenovo IT AI Solutions & Innovation Team is responsible for delivering cutting-edge AI solutions to global customers and strategic partners. Our team works closely with world-class organizations and events such as FIFA, Formula 1 (F1), and other enterprise customers to design, develop, and deploy AI-powered applications that create real business value and enhance user experiences.

We are looking for passionate AI Interns who are eager to learn, explore emerging technologies, and contribute to real-world AI projects involving Computer Vision, Multimodal AI, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).

Responsibilities

As an AI Intern, you will work alongside experienced AI engineers and solution architects to support the development and delivery of customer-facing AI solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Participate in AI projects serving external customers, including sports and entertainment organizations such as FIFA, F1, and other global enterprises.
• Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into AI solutions.
• Develop and test AI applications based on Computer Vision and Multimodal RAG technologies.
• Build data pipelines, model evaluation workflows, and proof-of-concept demonstrations.
• Fine-tune and optimize AI models to improve performance, accuracy, and user experience.
• Support solution integration, testing, validation, and deployment activities.
• Conduct research on the latest AI technologies, frameworks, and industry trends.
• Document technical findings and present project progress to team members and stakeholders.
• Complete assigned project tasks efficiently under the guidance of mentors and project leads.

Required Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in:

  • Computer Science
  • Artificial Intelligence
  • Data Science
  • Software Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Or related technical disciplines

• Strong interest in Generative AI, Computer Vision, and Multimodal AI.

• Solid programming skills in Python.

• Familiarity with machine learning and deep learning fundamentals.

• Basic understanding of LLMs, RAG, vector databases, and prompt engineering.

• Familiarity with one or more AI frameworks, such as:

  • PyTorch
  • TensorFlow
  • Hugging Face
  • LangChain
  • LlamaIndex

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Excellent learning ability with a demonstrated capability to quickly acquire new technologies and tools.

• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate within cross-functional teams.
