AI Intern – Penang

Location: Penang – GBS Bayan Baru

Key Responsibilities

• Support the AI team in developing and implementing AI-related projects and solutions.
• Assist with research and evaluation of Generative AI, Machine Learning, automation, and emerging AI technologies .
• Support data preparation, cleaning, organization, and basic analysis for AI projects.
• Assist in testing and evaluating AI tools, models, and applications.
• Conduct research on AI use cases and identify opportunities to improve business processes through AI.
• Assist in developing prototypes, proof-of-concepts, and automation solutions.
• Support documentation of AI projects, processes, testing results, and findings.
• Work with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into potential AI solutions.
• Assist with troubleshooting and improving AI solutions based on testing and feedback.
• Keep up to date with emerging AI technologies and industry developments.
• Perform ad-hoc AI and technology-related projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field .
• Able to commit to a full-time 6-month internship .
• ASAP availability is strongly preferred.
• Basic understanding of AI, Machine Learning, Generative AI, or data analytics.
• Basic programming knowledge such as Python is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Curious about emerging technologies and willing to learn.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks.
