AI Keyboard Operations

About the Role

We are looking for a product operations professional with a strong understanding of the Philippine market and a passion for AI products.

You will be responsible for building and managing local user communities, conducting market and user research, and driving product operations for our AI-powered keyboard. You will serve as a key connection between local users and our product team, continuously providing actionable feedback and insights to improve the product experience.

You will also develop and execute operational strategies to improve user acquisition, engagement, retention, and monetization performance in the Philippine market.

Key Responsibilities

User Community Building and Management

• Build and grow local user communities from the ground up.
• Develop community positioning, engagement mechanisms, and growth plans.
• Manage communities across locally relevant platforms such as Facebook, Messenger, WhatsApp, Telegram, and Discord.
• Plan online events, user co-creation programs, product testing initiatives, and incentive campaigns.
• Identify and develop relationships with seed users, power users, content contributors, and brand advocates.
• Maintain close communication with users and create an effective feedback loop.

Market Analysis and User Research

• Monitor trends across the Philippine AI, keyboard, productivity, and mobile application markets.
• Conduct user interviews, surveys, community observation, data analysis, and competitor research.
• Develop a deep understanding of local users’ needs, input habits, use cases, pain points, and willingness to pay.
• Analyze differences among user segments in language, culture, content preferences, and communication styles.
• Produce clear market, competitor, and user insight reports to support product and business decisions.

Product Experience and Localization

• Use the product extensively and continuously identify opportunities to improve the user experience.
• Collect, organize, and analyze user feedback to uncover recurring problems and unmet needs.
• Translate user needs into clear, actionable product recommendations.
• Work closely with product, design, engineering, and other teams to help drive improvements.
• Participate in feature testing, product launches, and post-launch evaluation.
• Provide localization recommendations covering language, culture, content, user experience, and monetization.

** Product Growth and Monetization**

• Develop and execute operational strategies across user acquisition, activation, engagement, retention, reactivation, and paid conversion.
• Plan referral campaigns, user incentives, content initiatives, community programs, and channel partnerships.
• Analyze user behavior and campaign performance to improve conversion funnels and retention.
• Explore suitable local monetization opportunities, including subscriptions, premium features, advertising, and other value-added services.
• Regularly review operational results and propose data-driven improvements.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in product operations, user operations, community management, growth, market research, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of the Philippine market, including local culture, consumer behavior, language environment, and social media ecosystem.
• Proven experience building and managing user communities from the ground up.
• Strong user research skills, including interviews, surveys, competitor analysis, and insight generation.
• Excellent product sense and user empathy, with the ability to identify experience issues and recommend practical solutions.
• Data-driven mindset and the ability to evaluate operational performance and iterate on strategies.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
• Proactive, resourceful, and comfortable taking ownership of results.
• Professional working proficiency in English.
• Fluency in Filipino/Tagalog or another Philippine language.
• Strong interest in AI, keyboards, productivity tools, or mobile applications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with AI products, keyboard applications, utility apps, or other mobile products.
• Experience launching or growing a digital product in the Philippine market.
• Familiarity with user growth and content strategies across Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Reddit, and other relevant platforms.
• Existing relationships with local creators, influencers, universities, communities, or distribution partners.
• Knowledge of GEO—Generative Engine Optimization—and how to improve a product’s visibility and likelihood of being referenced by AI search and answer platforms such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity.
• Experience with SEO, ASO, performance marketing, content marketing, or data analysis.
• Deep understanding of Philippine English, Taglish, and local communication styles.
