Role Overview

We are looking for an AI Lead Engineer to join our teams in a strategic international initiative focused on accelerating the adoption of Artificial Intelligence and AI Agents across Software Engineering organizations.

You will act as a bridge between technology and people, helping engineering teams evolve their Ways of Working throughout the Software Development Life Cycle.

You will identify opportunities where AI can create value, support the redesign of workflows, drive change management initiatives, and ensure teams successfully adopt new tools, practices, and operating models while measuring their impact on productivity, quality, and developer experience.

What you will do

• Assess current Software Engineering Ways of Working and identify opportunities to integrate AI and AI Agents across the SDLC;
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Architecture, Security, Testing, and Platform teams to define AI-enabled practices and workflows;
• Facilitate workshops, stakeholder discussions, and pilot initiatives to support AI adoption and process transformation;
• Lead change management activities, including communication plans, training programs, coaching sessions, and champion networks;
• Support teams in adapting responsibilities, skills, and collaboration models to new AI-driven ways of working;
• Monitor adoption, productivity, quality, and developer experience metrics, combining quantitative data with stakeholder feedback;
• Gather insights from pilot initiatives, identify adoption barriers, and coordinate continuous improvement actions;
• Create reusable enablement materials, reference workflows, best practices, and adoption frameworks;
• Stay up to date with the evolution of AI-assisted software development and translate relevant innovations into practical business opportunities.

What you are like

• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements, design, development, testing, security, and release processes;
• Experience in AI-assisted software development, Generative AI solutions, and AI Agents applied to engineering environments;
• Previous experience in workshop facilitation, stakeholder management, and influencing multidisciplinary teams in matrix organizations;
• Analytical and results-oriented, with the ability to assess adoption metrics and identify improvement opportunities;
• Experienced in driving strategic initiatives and supporting organizational change after deployment phases.
