AI Manager - Language Models (US Remote)

For our client, we are seeking a AI Manager - Language Models (US Remote) to join the team of a leader in the Telecommunications & Hardware space.

This remote leadership role will guide the development of large language model-driven machine learning solutions from concept through production. The position will shape how advanced AI capabilities are applied in mission-critical public safety workflows, with a focus on improving call handling, dispatch, and related operational outcomes. You will partner closely with infrastructure engineers and research scientists to bridge experimentation and deployment, while building reusable components that help move models efficiently from research into production.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $240,000 – $265,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of large language model-driven machine learning solutions
• Work across all stages of the machine learning lifecycle
• Apply knowledge to public safety application areas like 911 call handling and dispatch
• Collaborate with infrastructure engineers and research scientists
• Create reusable components for integration between research and production teams

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in machine learning or a related quantitative field
• 2+ years of direct management experience leading technical teams
• Experience managing an LLM-based solution from inception to market
• Experience with cloud-based software engineering
• Strong written and oral communication skills in English
