AI/ ML Engineer

devx labs is an AI-native consulting firm. We don't just plug AI tools into businesses; we rebuild how enterprises operate around what AI can actually do.

We're looking for an AI Engineer who builds agentic systems that run in production, at enterprise scale, with real users and measurable ROI.

What you'll do

→ Design, build and deploy production-grade agentic systems: multi-agent workflows, RAG, LLM-powered automation and data pipelines on AWS and Gemini Enterprise / Google Cloud

→ Own the technical calls (stack, model, framework, architecture) while balancing performance, cost and maintainability

→ Work directly with clients through discovery workshops, solution demos and iteration on real usage feedback

→ Ship 2–3x faster with AI-assisted development (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot)

→ Mentor junior engineers and build reusable accelerators and playbooks

What we're looking for

→ 4+ years in software engineering, with 2+ year focused on AI/ML

→ Hands-on production experience with agentic AI: tool use, orchestration, evals, observability, guardrails, latency and cost management. Prototype-only experience won't clear the bar.

→ Production depth with LLMs, embeddings, vector databases and RAG

→ Experience shipping on Vertex AI / Gemini Enterprise or AWS Bedrock (strong on one, quick to pick up the other)

→ Strong Python, plus working knowledge of TypeScript/Node.js and React/Next.js

→ Comfort explaining complex AI to non-technical stakeholders
