AI-Native engineer

At Quatt, we’re building the tech behind the energy transition. Our mission? To help 3 million households switch to sustainable home energy by 2030, and we’re only getting started! From a team of 25 to 300+ in just a few years, we’ve proven that speed and impact can go hand in hand. 🌱⚡To keep up the pace, we’re looking for an AI-native engineer to join our team.

The pitch. You and a product owner. One pod. No tickets, no managers, no sprint theater. An idea on Monday is live for real customers by Friday. You build it, you ship it, you watch people use it, you do it again. You’ll work with Claude, Gemini, Grok or whichever model enables you to deliver the best output.

This is real building. You own products end to end: the portal a homeowner uses to buy a heat pump, the agents that run the business, the tools that decide what happens next. You and your pod pick what to make, and you make it.

You run a fleet of agents. One of you ships what used to take a team of ten. The only cap on your output is your taste and your ambition.

Who We Want

• You are hooked on building. You shipped more this year than most engineers ship in three, and most of it with AI.
• You live on the frontier. You are on X at midnight watching what dropped today, and it is running on your machine by morning.
• You are young in your habits and owe nothing to how software used to be built. The old playbook bores you.
• You have taste. You know the best feature is usually the one you delete.
• You want your work out in the world, used by real people, this week.
• You understand how to build in a way that will scale in production.

The deal

• Ship to production every day. We mean it literally.
• Use whatever is best this week. A new model drops, you are running it that afternoon.
• Tiny pods, total ownership, real customers, real stakes. Quatt makes heat pumps cheap and easy, and that is one of the few things that actually moves the needle on climate.
• You are surrounded by people as obsessed as you are. Everyone here builds, all the way up.

How to get in: Send us one thing you built with AI in the last 30 days and tell us about your setup and how it helps you go fast. Show us the thing, then show us how fast you made it. We want to experience your agent swarm and learn how you're pushing the boundaries of building.

Next steps Our process includes a short introductory call to hear more about your motivation and interests, followed by two additional interviews. If we feel your profile doesn’t match our requirements, we’ll let you know by email.
