They're looking for an experienced PHP Software Engineer with strong software architecture skills and a genuine AI-native mindset.

AI needs to be at the heart of how they work, not just used as a coding assistant. The role involves using AI throughout the software development lifecycle, designing reliable systems, building automated testing and verification frameworks, and improving engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Design reliable, observable and resilient software systems.
• Translate business requirements into architectural solutions.
• Build automated testing, quality gates and verification frameworks.
• Use AI throughout software development and delivery.
• Improve AI-native engineering practices and standards.
• Document architectural decisions and technical knowledge for people and AI systems.
• Mentor engineers and improve engineering capabilities.

Mandatory Requirements

• Strong PHP software engineering experience .
• Strong software architecture and system design experience.
• Genuine AI-native expertise , using AI as an integral part of software delivery, not just for coding.
• Strong understanding of testing, quality engineering and observability .
• Experience with automated verification and quality frameworks .
• Ability to provide AI with context, constraints and feedback.
• Understanding of AI capabilities and limitations.
• Experience designing reliable, observable and resilient systems.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to mentor engineers.
