What they need
AI Operations Specialist – Startup Partnerships
The Sage Groups’ client is seeking an AI Operations Specialist to support their Startup Partnerships team who work with founders, accelerators and venture firms around the world, including programs that give early-stage companies access to Claude. As these programs grow, so does the volume of founder questions reaching our team, much of it about program eligibility and access.
As our AI Operations Specialist, you'll own that inbound. You'll run and improve the Claude-powered workflows that triage and draft responses to founder inquiries, review what they produce, and step in on the cases that require human intervention. Over time, you'll turn what you learn into automation that handles routine questions reliably on its own, so the team can spend its time on the most difficult questions and ensure all founders receive prompt, accurate responses.
This is a hands-on, high-volume role. You'll review and act on a large number of inquiries every day, and you'll be the person who knows where the workflow gets it right, where it doesn't, and what to build next.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, edit and send responses to a high volume of founder inquiries each day, using Claude-powered triage and drafting tools
- Make careful, consistent calls on program eligibility questions, and escalate sensitive or unusual cases to the right team
- Build and improve Claude-based workflows that categorize, triage and draft responses to inbound email, with human review where decisions carry risk
- Track recurring questions and failure patterns, and turn them into better automations, templates and program communications
- Work cross-functionally with our trust and safety, operations, marketing and partnerships teams to keep responses accurate and consistent with program policy
- Document how the workflows run so they can be maintained and expanded
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience in high-volume support, trust and safety, or operations roles where accuracy and consistency matter
- Hand-son experience using LLMs to draft, triage or automate workflows, including prompt and workflow design and evaluating output quality
- Strong judgment about when an automated answer is good enough and when a case needs a human
- Comfortable with repetitive, detail-heavy work at volume without losing care
- Clear, friendly written communication
- Discretion with sensitive information
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building automations across email, spreadsheets, Slack or CRMs, and scripting in Python or JavaScript
- Experience with fraud review, eligibility decisions or approval workflows
- Familiarity with the Claude API, Claude Code or agent frameworks
Duration: 6 months with chance of extension
Pay: $110.00
